Abstract
Since 2008, Brooks Lights International has been the innovator in meeting the energy needs of
the military with a growing array of programs, services and resources that are defining the next
generation of energy management. This innovation continues today as it serve more than 5.2
million electric customers and more than 850,000 gas customers in an economically diverse, 3300-
square-mile area encompassing Baltimore City, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Perryville, Elkton
and Havre de Grace, MD. BLI serves as the liaison between the military community and Baltimore
Gas and Electric.
In this paper, I will discuss the type of product the company will offer and identify its primary
characteristics, discuss the service component of the product and how it will be used to enhance the
product, explain how the product could be expanded to a product line, and the depth and breadth of
the line and determine how the core business may change in response to industry or market changes.
