The Experimental Verification of Disconnection Syndrome Lecture Notes

In 1965, Geschwind wrote a theoretically significant paper titled “Disconnection Syndromes in Animals and Man” that tied together a vast amount of literature and anticipated many of the effects of callosal surgery. Geschwind’s thesis is that certain types of behavioral deficits result from disconnections between the hemispheres, within a hemisphere, or both. This documents further explores this theory.
