These lecture notes are intended for every students who study anatomy, especially nursing and medicine. The hand is the human being’s most exquisite organ of direct interaction with the surrounding universe. The anatomic snuff box is a hollow depression at the dorsoradial side of the wrist which is situated between the styloid process of the radius proximally and the base of the metacarpal of the thumb distally. The elbow carrying angle varies with gender. The axilla is an anatomic pyramid situated between medial portion of upper extremity & lateral portion of upper thorax and contains 4 walls, apex and base. Axilla contains the brachial plexus, axillary artery and vein. Brachial plexus organizes nerves out to muscles of upper limb. Shoulder girdle consists of scapula, clavicle and upper part of humerus. The back is the posterior aspect of the trunk which protects the spinal cord and spinal nerves and plays an important role in posture and locomotion.
